Oct. 15th Livestream from the Comedy Cellar
Mint Comedy streams live, uncensored stand-up from the Comedy Cellar in New York City every Thursday night. This week’s show is Thursday, October 15 at 9:30pm ET, hosted by Ashley Austin Morris, featuring LeClerc Andre, KC Shornima, Shaun Murphy, Maddie Wiener, and Tommy Brennan. Watch at mintcomedy.com/live-stream for $2.99, $2 with promo code LAUGHS, or free with a $4.99/month or annual membership.
Here’s the short version: a current Saturday Night Live featured player, a three-time Emmy-nominated “Weekend Update” writer, an SNL writer who started doing stand-up at 16, a Tonight Show alum with an album about becoming a dad, a Buffalo comic with a brand-new special, and a host you’ve seen on FX, Netflix, and CBS. All in the most famous comedy basement on the planet, with no edits, no bleeps, and no “we’ll fix it in post.”
Here’s who’s on.
The lineup: October 15
Ashley Austin Morris · Your Host
Born in San Antonio and trained at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Ashley is a Comedy Cellar regular and one of New York’s busiest working actors. You’ve seen her as Roxanne Hertz on FX’s Fleishman Is in Trouble, in Netflix’s Inventing Anna, on CBS’s Elsbeth, and in Poker Face and Life & Beth. If you grew up on PBS Kids, she was Francine, leader of the Pranksters, on The Electric Company. Her debut special and album, Slightly Off, was filmed at New York Comedy Club and hit No. 1 on the iTunes comedy chart. Thursday she’s running the room, which is a lot easier than running the Pranksters.
LeClerc Andre
Brooklyn-based LeClerc Andre earned an English degree from Coppin State, then decided the best use of words was making strangers laugh with them. A Just for Laughs New Face, he made his network TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2018, competed on NBC’s Bring the Funny the next year, and released the Dry Bar Comedy special With All Due Respect in 2020. His album I Am LeClerc, recorded at New York Comedy Club, covers newlywed life, the pandemic, and becoming a first-time dad: three of life’s biggest changes on one record.
KC Shornima
Born in Nepal, raised in Georgia, and now based in New York, KC is a three-time Primetime Emmy nominee as a writer for Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update.” She co-wrote Colin Jost’s 2024 White House Correspondents’ Dinner speech, wrote for Comedy Central’s Tooning Out the News, was a Just for Laughs New Face in 2022, and made her Tonight Show stand-up debut in February 2026. Her 2025 Edinburgh Fringe hour, Detachment Style, drew four-star reviews. Her favorite building in New York is 30 Rock, “where all my checks come from.”
Shaun Murphy
Shaun grew up in Kenmore, just outside Buffalo, and did stand-up while working at Mighty Taco, Barnes & Noble, and M&T Bank. He watched the Bills lose four straight Super Bowls as a kid, which, by his own theory, is exactly what makes a person funny. Now a Comedy Cellar regular in New York, he’s opened for Mark Normand, Dave Attell, Dan Soder, and Beth Stelling. His newest special, Long Story Thin, premiered in January 2026 on Mark Normand’s YouTube channel, following his first hour, Neal (2022). His sign-off, as always: sorry about everything.
Maddie Wiener
Maddie grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and started doing stand-up at 16. Her parents let her drive an hour and a half each way to do three minutes at an open mic. In 2025 she joined the writing staff of Saturday Night Live, after Michael Che (whom she met at the Comedy Cellar) recommended her. She made her stand-up debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2024, was a Just for Laughs New Face in 2021, and was picked for the Netflix Is A Joke Fest 2026 Shortlist. She’s toured with Nikki Glaser, Dave Attell, and Anthony Jeselnik, and Mint fans know her from episode 2 of The Mint Comedy Podcast.
Tommy Brennan
St. Paul, Minnesota’s Tommy Brennan is one of eight kids (six of them sisters), has an accounting degree from Notre Dame, and worked at LinkedIn before comedy took over. He started in Chicago, moved to New York, and became a Comedy Cellar regular. A Just for Laughs New Face in 2023, he made his Tonight Show stand-up debut in June 2025, joined Saturday Night Live as a featured player that fall, and is back for Season 52. He also co-created the web series and podcast Roommates-In-Law. On “Weekend Update,” Colin Jost called him a “good boy.” We see no reason to disagree.
