THE ONE SHOW WE'RE NOT PUTTING ON THE INTERNET

Mint Comedy presents Live from the Comedy Cellar: a one-night, in-person-only stand-up show at the Comedy Cellar in New York City on Monday, September 14 at 6PM EST. Dan Soder, Tommy Brennan, Rosebud Baker, Peter Revello, and Maddie Wiener, hosted by Jon Laster.

Tickets are $20: reserve your seats here, then pay at the door when you check in.

We stream stand-up out of this basement every Thursday night. This one, you have to show up for. No cameras, no replay, no "I'll catch the clip." Five comics, one host, one night, and the only recording will be somebody in the second row describing it badly to their coworkers on Tuesday.

The lineup: September 14

Dan Soder

You know him as Mafee on Billions, from his HBO and Netflix specials, or from years of The Bonfire on SiriusXM. What you get in the Cellar is the version none of those can capture: Soder loose, off-script, and working a low ceiling like he built it. This is a comic at the top of his powers performing for you in the most famous room in comedy.

Tommy Brennan

Current Saturday Night Live cast member. You've watched him Saturday nights at 11:30. On the 14th, you can watch him from six feet away at 6, in the room where SNL scouts have been finding people for decades. He got found. Now he's back.

Rosebud Baker

Emmy winner and former SNL writer, with the darkest, most precisely aimed material in New York. Rosebud says the thing everyone in the room was afraid to think, then makes you laugh at it before you can object. Uncensored basement stand-up is her natural habitat.

Peter Revello

Comedy Cellar regular, which is the hardest credit on this page to earn. The Cellar doesn't book potential, it books killers, and Revello is the comic other comics stand in the back to watch.

Maddie Wiener

SNL writer and one of the fastest-rising stand-ups in New York. Maddie was passing at the Cellar while most comics her age were still doing open mics, and the jokes-per-minute rate is genuinely unfair. See her now so you can be insufferable about it later.

Jon Laster · Your Host

Cellar veteran and one of the best crowd-work comics in the city. Jon runs the room, finds the funniest stranger in it, and keeps the night moving. The host set is not the palate cleanser here, it's part of the meal.

How to get tickets (step by step)

Tickets are $20 per person. You reserve your seats online first, then pay at the door when you check in. The Cellar's reservation flow has a few screens, so here is exactly what to do:

  1. Go to the reservation page: comedycellar.com reservations.

  2. Make sure the 6PM "Mint Presents" show is highlighted in the showtimes list. The link should preselect it, but double-check before you move on. That's our show.

  3. Click Next.

  4. Enter your email address, then click Next.

  5. Enter your details, then click Next.

  6. Confirm your details, then click Make Reservation.

  7. Check your inbox. You'll get a confirmation email with a QR code. That QR code is your ticket: show it at the door on the 14th to check in and pay.

That's it. Seven clicks between you and this epic in a basement.
