Elon Altman: A New York Native and Rising Star at the Comedy Cellar
Who is Elon Altman?
Elon Altman is a stand-up comedian born and raised in New York City who has earned recognition through both competition and consistent club performances. He won Season 3 of New York’s Got Talent, a competition that helped raise his profile and validate his comedic abilities. Since then, he’s become a regular at the world-famous Comedy Cellar, where he performs alongside some of the city’s best comedians.
His television work includes an appearance on AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, a platform that showcases comedians from the NYC scene. He was also a finalist in the 2021 Boston Comedy Festival, demonstrating his appeal to comedy audiences outside his home city. Beyond his Cellar residency, he’s featured for major comedians like Dennis Miller and Demetri Martin, and has headlined the world-famous Caroline’s on Broadway multiple times.
Elon Altman’s Comedy Style
His humor is described as clever, sarcastic, and smart, yet deceptively simple. There’s an old-school style of delivery reminiscent of classic stand-ups like Jerry Seinfeld, but with youthful, cutting-edge material spanning a wide range of topics. This combination of classical sensibility with contemporary material makes his comedy accessible to diverse audiences.
