Who is Joe List?

Joe List is a stand-up comedian born on April 6, 1982, in Stoughton, Massachusetts. He grew up in Whitman, Massachusetts, and began performing stand-up comedy in Boston in 2000, shortly after graduating from high school. His early start and dedication to the craft have made him one of comedy’s most consistent voices.

He’s a regular at the Comedy Cellar in New York City, where he’s become known for his observational humor and sharp writing. His television appearances include Conan and The Late Show with David Letterman, and in 2015, he was a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He recorded a half-hour special for Comedy Central and released material for Netflix’s The Standups in 2018, followed by I Hate Myself on Comedy Central’s YouTube channel in 2020 and This Year’s Material on his own YouTube channel in 2022.
