Reggie Conquest: Bio, Comedy Style, and Where to Watch
Who is Reggie Conquest?
Reggie Conquest is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer from West Philadelphia, where he began his comedy career at the legendary Laff House. He is now based in New York City. He was named a “New Face” at Just for Laughs Montreal in 2019 — the same year he was cast as Calvin, the fan-favorite “TSA Bae,” in Season 4 of HBO’s Insecure opposite Issa Rae.
He has performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. His stand-up has been featured on TruTV’s Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks and Comedy Central’s Featuring. He filmed a role in Paramount Pictures’ Scream 5 (2022) alongside Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Jack Quaid, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette. He voiced ‘Doug’ in the DreamWorks animated feature The Gillmans. He was a staff writer on TruTV’s Impractical Jokers and HBOMax’s That Damn Michael Che (Seasons 1 and 2), and appears as ‘Kevin’ in That Damn Michael Che. He plays ‘Shareef’ in Showtime’s Flatbush Misdemeanors and the recurring character ‘Devin’ in ABC’s Abbott Elementary opposite Sheryl Lee Ralph.
Reggie Conquest’s Comedy Style
Conquest’s stand-up is grounded, warm, and built on specific storytelling — day-job mishaps, family dynamics, and dating detours delivered with easygoing precision and crowd work that makes rooms feel intimate. The actor credits reflect a comedic sensibility that translates across formats: his “TSA Bae” character became one of the most recognized minor recurring roles in Insecure‘s run, and the Abbott Elementary recurring role suggests the same crossover instinct at work.
